I will always remember it as the day my world of waiting tables with my brother Tannis in a small peaceful village was suddenly and violently torn asunder. The very earth I stood upon crumbled and quaked and I was suddenly swept off into the unknown. Looking back it wasn't the darkness that I feared, but the knowledge that unseen hands had the power to pull me into it. I had no knowledge of Wizards, Dragons, Trolls, and other monstrosities that thrive in the dark places of the world, but when you have been swept off your feet you have little control of how and where you might land. Through my travels, I discovered great peoples of the world and have seen both the light and dark that inhabits the hearts of men. And if I live to see this all set right I will always say that it was the love of life and the adventures that were set in motion that great day that gave me the power to be a light in the dark. -Hidden Journals of Jadeance of Tigman Volume II 5E-862.
